Would you like to transfer a connection from one spreadsheet into another?

The add-on seems to work well. It sometimes messes up the formatting if the original doc is changed.

Thanks for your feedback. Formatting will be implemented on Sheetgo by the end of first quarter (Q1/2018).

It should be optional anyway, I may want to use different colors in the destination file.

Importing formats of cells does not currently work. The initial import DOES import the cell format eg colour, font size, style, and cell colour, etc. But future updates do not update format changes which have been made to the source sheet since the initial import. So you are stuck with the formats imported when the sheet was first created. Hopefully 'automatic updates' and 'manual updates' import the ENTIRE cell format (cell colour, font type, font size, font colour, border, border style, hyperlinks, merged cells, etc). Also it should be optional to select which formats are imported and which are not.

But it doesn’t keep the formatting… I thought that was the whole purpose of your product! … I wanted to be able to import a document, retain the formatting and have it refresh those cells from the source sheet.

If I have to go through and reformat everything than I can just do that by creating a simple Import with the base Google sheet command. What am I missing?

we understand that should one make a change to the consolidated sheet, the changes will made back to the original sheet.  But let's say a cell was highlighted yellow for a reason, but was then changed to Green (say for approval) on the consolidated sheet, will the green (and any other formatting changes) be made back to the original sheet?

I tried to use the Sheetgo Add-on to make the interaction faster between different sheets by using the consolidate function type. That isn't working for me because the sheet format gets lost in the process, so i went back to manually importing via "importrange" function.. is there a way to solve this issue?

Spreadsheet is not matching cell fill color when updating

I have an issue regarding sheet updates. The information fills automatically, but when the sheet updates, it doesn't update the formatting. Often, I find myself having to delete the connected sheet and refreshing the sheetgo connection in order to fully update the information. Is there a setting I can choose to fix this? Or is this the only way to filly update the connection?
